The endemic variety of the Friuli region, Schioppettino, in a semi-sweet, extremely drinkable version from the Reguta Winery. Intense ruby color shimmering with blue reflections. Aromas of ripe sweet forest fruits – blackberries, raspberries, and blackcurrants. On the palate, pleasant sweetness well balanced with a nice warm finish. The wine pairs very well with spicy pizza toppings like Spianata Piccante, Nduja, or spicier Salami Napoli. It also complements yeast cakes, chocolate desserts, and fruit sorbets.
