Chateau La Gaffeliere is owned by the Malet Roquefort family, the oldest owners in Saint Emilion. Beautiful ruby color with delicate inky reflections. The nose is dominated by dark berries, ripe red cherries, and pleasant sweet cassis. In the background, spicy notes of spices, hints of smoke, and pencil graphite. Beautifully arranged and balanced. A wine for now or for longer aging. It pairs perfectly with goose, beef stew, and braised game.
