Artesao Ruis Tawny is a sweet fortified wine from Portugal. It has a beautiful dark red-brown color. The aromas are dominated by notes of hazelnut, quince jam, and spices. Tawny – meaning wine aged in barrels (in this case for 3 years). On the palate, accents of vanilla, dried fruits – an extremely complex and dignified wine. The strength supported by sweetness and a long finish. Perfectly pairs with sweets – ideal for almond and nut cakes and pastries, fruits, or nut ice creams. Great for pairing with aged hard cheeses.
