Shirataki Konjac noodles 200g/20 City Aroma e
Catalogue index: J12055
Description
Shirataki noodles are a very popular type of dumpling in East Asian countries, especially in Japan and China, where Konjac is cultivated - the plant from which the flour is made. This vegetable is characterized by its fiber content called glucomannan, responsible for the jelly-like and slippery texture of the noodles. It is also a source of fiber. Shirataki noodles resemble soy noodles in appearance, but they are thinner while maintaining elasticity and resistance to breaking. They have a very distinctive feature, which is the lack of flavor, making them ideal for absorbing aromas from the dishes they are combined with. They are best used in soups, salads, or stir-fry dishes. They are perfect for vegetarian and low-calorie diets, as they are free from gluten, sugar, allergens, and contain only 9.5 kcal/100g (!).
