Friulano is the most typical and beloved indigenous variety of Friuli. Grown here for centuries, it is an integral part of local culture and cuisine. Friulano is also known as Tocai Italico as it shares many characteristics with the popular Hungarian Tokaji. The wine has intense aromas of ripe, juicy pears and peaches, light minerality, and juicy acidity. On the palate, a light almond aftertaste and a clean, long finish.
